Burex Party "France Rocks Austin"
5:15 - 6:00 pm : Brodinski

Whether remixing for the Klaxons, Peaches, or Ebony Bones, the tech-house DJ/producer Brodinski represents the new wave of French electro; altogether bawdy, brutal and sensual. With his bass-heavy house and glitchy techno, he brings on the new French electronic dynamism.

1:00 am : Binary Audio Misfits

BINARY AUDIO MISFITS is the fruit of a musical meeting on MySpace between two highly original genres from different worlds. In Fall 2007, after discovering them on myspace, the French rock group Expérience invited the Texan rap collective The Word Association to sing on one of their tracks. The result was so exciting that they decided to continue the collaboration with the recording of Expérience's fourth album at Steve Albini's Electrical Studio, Chicago in 2007. Over the year, they continue to write songs over the internet and were invited for a residency and a gig in 2009 at the french venue La Cartonnerie, in Reims (France).

9:00 pm : Sebastien Schuller

Working primarily from his home studio, French musician Sebastien Schuller mixes acoustic and electronic instruments to create enchantingly eclectic music. He likes to treat his voice as an instrument. His vocals, treated like an instrument, tease the listener with a game of hide and seek. His music is a glorious work of art, drenched in both bittersweet pleasure and beautiful grief. His first album "Happiness" has set its mark as one of the most original albums of 2005, and was praised by many successful reviews. In May 2009 he released "Evenfall" with the same impressive touch of melodic purity, pictured with a new diversity of landscapes. He is currently living in Philadelphia.
